Using the tools

You do not need an account, identity document or payment details to read our guides or use a calculator. Weight, purity, product and price assumptions are used to produce the result you request. Some tools include these inputs in the page address so your figures can carry into a related tool or summary. Your browser history or a link you share may therefore contain them.

Saving a valuation downloads a text summary to your device. It does not email that summary, submit an assessment request or create a customer account.

When you email us

An email shares your email address, message and any information or attachments you include with Meridian and the email services involved in delivery. Use email for buying or selling enquiries, private assessment arrangements, website support and corrections. Include only the information needed to explain your question.

Do not send government identification, payment-card or bank details, passwords or unrelated personal records. An enquiry does not confirm an appointment, commit you to a transaction or lock a price. We agree assessment arrangements with you directly. This website does not collect identity documents, payments or assessment requests through online forms.

Website measurement and technical services

We count selected page views and tool interactions, including clicks to the contact page, email link and valuation summary. The measurement table groups counts by day, named page, intent and product category. A click is not proof that an email was sent or received, and these counts are not unique visitors.

This application measurement does not set analytics cookies or store visitor identifiers, entered valuations, offer amounts, contact details, query strings, referrers or free-form messages. It respects the browser’s Do Not Track signal when that signal is enabled.

Hosting, security, market-data and email providers may process technical information needed to deliver their services, such as request details or network addresses. These limits describe Meridian’s aggregate measurement, not a promise that every service involved keeps no technical logs.

Linked sources and your device

Our guides link to external sources. Their own privacy practices apply when you visit them. A downloaded valuation remains on your device; consider who can access it before sharing or saving it on a shared computer.

Privacy questions and requests

Contact info@meridiangold.ca with “Privacy request” in the subject to ask about information you have shared, request access or a correction, or discuss deletion. Describe the request without attaching identity documents. The response can depend on the records involved and applicable retention obligations; this notice does not promise immediate deletion of every record.

Changes to this notice

The date above identifies the latest revision. If Meridian introduces a service that collects additional information, its collection and use must be explained when that service is offered. Contact Meridian describes what is available today.
