Meridian Gold Incorporated serves clients throughout British Columbia, with a focus on Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Buying and selling enquiries are handled directly by email; private assessments are by arrangement.
For a sale, describe the type of item, approximate weight and any purity markings. For a purchase, include the coin or bar, quantity and size you’re considering. If you have a preferred assessment time, include that too.
We confirm appointment details and location directly before a visit. Keep identity documents and bank details out of your initial email, and wait for agreed instructions before making any payment or transferring metal.

How do I arrange a private assessment?
Email info@meridiangold.ca with a short description of your items, your location and preferred times. We’ll discuss suitability and confirm the arrangements with you directly. An email enquiry is not a confirmed appointment.
Can I place an order online?
Purchase enquiries are handled directly. Contact us to discuss the exact product, availability and pricing. The website provides comparisons and estimates, not checkout or payment processing. We’ll discuss the next step with you directly.
What should I bring to an assessment?
Keep the item with any existing packaging, assay card, receipt or ownership record. Avoid cleaning coins, opening sealed packaging or removing stones. We’ll confirm identification and any other requirements before your appointment.
Is my estimate a guaranteed price?
An estimate uses the weight and purity you enter. A confirmed offer depends on assessment of the item. Stones, non-metal parts, condition, authenticity and market movement can change the result. Silver estimates show metal value only.
What happens when I save an estimate?
A text summary downloads to your device with the figures, inputs and market timestamp. You can include it in your enquiry if useful. Downloading it does not send us your details or book an appointment.
How do I know whether a price is current?
The source and update time appear beside each market price. Delayed data, samples and user-entered scenarios are labelled. Prices move with the market; a displayed estimate does not lock a price.
Can you store my metal or receive it by mail?
Our current service is by direct enquiry and private assessment. Storage and mail-in services are not offered. Please do not send metal by post.
